Autumn MTB Tech Clinics
New for 2026 are my Autumn MTB Tech Clinics. I’ve scheduled three sessions all with a specific focus, aimed at supporting riders to get most from their riding, with some additional thought put into winter riding and the extra challenges that throws at us.
Sat 14th Nov – MTB Tech Clinic ‘Send any drop’ – Deuchny
Sat 28th Nov – MTB Tech Clinic ‘Making sense of tricky corners’ – Deuchny
Sat 12th Dec – MTB Tech Clinic ‘Finding flow on winter trails’ – Hallyburton
MTB Tech Clinics are ‘Intermediate+’ sessions. If you aren’t sure if these are right for you then read on or drop me a line.
Intermediate+ sessions are for riders who, as a minimum, will find blue grade trail centre trails fun, fast and easy. They will relish the challenge of red grade trails and venture onto the occasional black trail. All the Intermediate+ sessions are suitable for more advanced riders too and are a great way to get rid of bad riding habits, or to fine tune your technique.
All MTB Tech Clinics are 3.5hours in duration and have a maximum of 6 riders to ensure a high level of individual coaching support. Sessions are priced at £60/rider/session, or if you sign up for 2 or more sessions, then you get a reduced price of £55/session. Return riders (those of you who've been coached by me before) will also get a return rider 5% discount on those prices.
Cyclocross Masterclasses
Available for individual riders to sign up to or arranged as tailor made sessions specifically for clubs, groups or a bunch of ‘cross-mad friends. These masterclasses typically last 4 hours and are designed to support riders with racing, focusing on the technical, tactical, physical and psychological challenges that riders face in competition. Different levels of masterclass are available, including:
-
‘Cross fundamentals - for those new to the discipline and for those with a little bit of experience but who wish to build on basic technique
-
‘Cross progression - for riders who’ve got the cross bug after a season or two of racing and who are keen to push themselves further
-
‘Cross performance - for the more experienced racer who is looking for support to enhance their racing, refine skills, and develop a successful race strategy
Prices for a tailor made masterclasse start at £350 for a 4 hour session for up to 10 riders.

Group Road Cycling Workshops
Bunch, chaingang, peloton; whatever the collective noun you use to describe a group of cyclists, the bottom line is riding with friends or club mates can be a very pleasurable experience, not to mention safer and more efficient. However it can also be a bit stressful if you are not confident riding in a group, or indeed if others in the group lack basic group riding etiquette and skills.
My group road cycling workshops are designed to address those problems, supporting everyone to understand how the group should ride together, the ways in which we move as a group, communicate with one another and other road users, and how we can maximise the safety, efficiency and social enjoyment of riding with friends. Sessions are designed for between 4 and 8 riders and can be tailored to meet your group’s exact needs.
To arrange a session for your club get in touch.
Prices for group coaching sessions start at £12.50/rider and vary depending on the session type, duration and location.
